IT’S OFFICIAL! THE PEFFERLAW FOOD HUB LAUNCHES OCTOBER 8!

We’re excited to launch our new Pefferlaw Food Hub on Thursday, October 8, 2026,  bringing food support closer to home for residents experiencing food insecurity.

Launch Day: Thursday, October 8, 2026

Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Pefferlaw Public Library (76 Pete’s Lane)

EMERGENCY FOOD HAMPERS

Pefferlaw residents can access pre-ordered emergency food hampers from the Georgina Food Pantry. Please note: Emergency hampers are available by appointment only, and proof of a Pefferlaw address is required.

Call 905-596-0557 ext. 1 to place your order. Please leave a message if you are unable to reach us. A volunteer will call you back on the Tuesday one week before Hub Day to help you place your order.

FRESH FOOD MARKET

The Hub will also host York Region Food Network’s low-cost Fresh Food Market, where everyone is welcome to shop for affordable, fresh fruit and vegetables. No appointment or proof of address is required to visit the market!

We’re proud to be working alongside our community partners to make food support more accessible throughout Georgina. Please help us spread the word to friends, family, and neighbours in Pefferlaw who may benefit from this new service!
